Found in 2022, Queer In Color (QIC) is taking action to prioritize BIPOC members of the LGBTQ+ community.

 

The BIPOC Alliance is grateful to support this organization as they grow in northern Colorado!! Together, we are bringing a northern Colorado ambassador to host QIC programming. 

 

An embodiment of the term “for us, by us,” QIC was formed to

• provide a safe space for BIPOC members of the LGBTQ+ community 

• positively contribute to the creation of a world where queer people of color are seen as more than just a box to check off a list

 

QIC partners with like-minded, BIPOC-centered organizations with a shared passion to cultivate an accepting space that truly breaks down barriers among the LGBTQ+ community and its BIPOC members.

 

QIC envisions a sense of unity and synergy within the LGBTQ+ community in a way that enhances representation and provides a sense of belonging.
